We all need to focus on Jesus and look away from ourselves and our circumstances. Christians best glorify the Lord when we find all of our joy and satisfaction in Him. By heeding the admonishment of the writer of Hebrews to “fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2), we are compelled to love Him more.

Linden C. Wolfe, founder of Captivated by Christ Ministries, is a former pastor of several churches and has a PhD in Biblical Studies. His latest release is Captivated by the King and His Kingdom: A Personal Encounter with the Sermon on the Mount (published by Crossbooks, a division of Lifeway). Wolfe currently lives in Hendersonville, Tennessee with his wife Rebekah and is the father of one son, Samuel. The Captivated by Christ ministry (captivatedbychrist.org) is focused on exalting Jesus and challenging His followers through both the written and spoken word. Linden is the author of two other books: Captivated by Christ: Focusing on Him and Captivated Anew: Restored to Pursue Him.
